Anonymous Witness...The Death of Justice.

IS THIS THE AGE OF THE COWARDS...

I am, as you might be, completely blown away that the Government and some Police Officers feel that anonymous witnesses are a good thing, I say bollocks to that, what a mockery of Justice that makes.

"IF I CAN NOT KNOW WHOM MY ACCUSER IS THEN HOW CAN THAT WITNESS BE HELD AS CREDIBLE, AFTER ALL IT COULD BE ANY OLD TOM, DICK OR HARRY JUST DRAFTED BY THE SYSTEM TO SAY WHAT EVER THEY ARE TOLD TO SAY"

That's my quote on the subject, and why, well its simple... how can I be sure that if the prosecution says it has an anonymous witness THAT THEY REALLY DO HAVE ONE, how can my defence be sure that they really do have a credible witness, if the witness does not have the backbone to stand up and say for all to see "that's the criminal, this is what he did, I saw it" then there can be no witness, the definition of witness is someone who saw an event that they now recant to us who did not see said event, it is not a secret person unknown to all who may of seen and event that they now claim to of seen, how can the defendant be sure they are for real if they are not allowed to know whom they are, what safe guards are there.

I say this to anyone who accuses me of any crime, set down the evidence and provide your witness who can then tell all of us what they claim to know of any crime I may of committed, don't come to me with a story that you know what I did and then claim you cant tell me who told you what, I will have tell you that you have nothing as you have not even a real witness you could just be making it all up...

If the prosecution can not share the identity of the witness how can that be proof of anything, as I wrote it could all be a crock of lies, how would we the people know, if we lived in a society that had a clean honest justice system then perhaps in very special circumstances we could allow anonymity in special cases...but we do not live in an honest society and the justice system of this country is probably amongst the most corrupt in the world if not the most corrupt in the world, as they have been caught lying before time and time again there is no way they should be allowed to hide anything from the public.

Here is another example of the State just changing the law to suit the needs of the State not the interests of the people, you have a fundamental right to know your accuser regardless of what the evil State claims to be legal, it may well become legal but that alone does not mean it is right, I would fight and fight to have any anonymous witness used against me revealed to everyone and if not appeal against any conviction gained on such shaky grounds, show your hand or let me go free.

TO THOSE WHO CONSIDER BEING A WITNESS IN A TRIAL OF ANY SORTS, IN THIS LIFE WE ARE AT TIMES CALLED UPON TO HAVE COURAGE AND TO DO THE RIGHT THING, NO MATTER WHAT THE THREAT IS, IF YOU CAN NOT FIND THE COURAGE TO STAND UP AND BE COUNTED THEN YOU SHOULD REMAIN SILENT AND YOU SHOULD HAVE TO LIVE WITH YOUR OWN COWARDICE... BECAUSE THAT'S WHAT YOU ARE NOTHING MORE THAN A COWARD, A WHITE FEATHER TO ANYONE WHO BEHAVES IN SUCH AWAY...
